The Projects

Our goal is to foster the development of four interdisciplinary projects, thanks to the support of the Rectorates of the Triangle Azur Universities and the EPFL, within the framework of the WKD. The project leaders are researchers who practise interdisciplinarity. The meeting will enable them to achieve one of their research goals, thus consolidating past research and promoting their future plans. It will give them the opportunity to bring together a team of collaborators with whom to engage in fruitful and focused exchange over the course of three full days (October 11‐13), in optimal work conditions. Participants will arrive in Villars on the 10th of October and will leave on the 14th.

Each group will bring together experts from various fields, having mutually complementary knowledge useful to the project goal. The project leaders, who are responsible for putting together their team according to their needs, will select the participants. As well as inviting targeted people, project leaders may receive applications from doctoral students, researchers
from national and international structures.

If you wish to participate in a work group, please send your proposal (1‐2 pages and a CV) to Professor Guillemette Bolens: guillemette.bolens@unige.ch

The meeting will be organized so as to favour intensive work within the groups, alternating with plenary sessions during which each group will present the advancement of its work to the others, thus allowing exchange between different perspectives and interdisciplinary approaches. Lectures given by internationally renowned speakers will be a key element of the meeting, enabling far‐reaching reflexion on the implemented projects.
