Hubert Reeves

Hubert Reeves is an astrophysicist and popularizer of science. He has been a Director of Research at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique since 1965 and currently resides in France where he often speaks on television promoting science. He is also Associate Professor at the University of Montreal, and President of the Ligue ROC pour la Préservation de la faune sauvage.
He has written several publicly acclaimed books and, among the many honours that have been bestowed on him, he is an Officer of the National Order of Quebec (1994) and a recipient of the Albert Einstein Medal (2001). |
